Moose Pharmacy Wins Rosie Award

Moose Pharmacy won a Rosie Award during the RosettaFest 2023 Chicago event. The Rosie Awards are given to the top 50 employers in America with the best employee health plans.

Cristy’s collaboration with Moose Pharmacy is dear to her heart as she is very proud to have been part of their recent story of improving employee health plan design which then improves employee health outcomes and lowers costs. The process started with using Health Rosetta’s proprietary Plan Grader that scores health plans based on Health Rosetta Principles. See more details about Moose Pharmacy’s Award-winning health plan here.

Moose Pharmacy was founded in 1884 by Joe Moose's great-grandfather. Today, the little town of Mount Pleasant, NC, still relies on the smiling faces at Moose Pharmacy where customers are greeted by their first name upon arrival, and leave with their medications in hand and a friendly hug to send them on their merry way.

Sadly, most Americans have lost this sense of community in healthcare. With corporate giants encroaching on every aspect of medical care, patients have become lost in the chaos. But, not at Moose Pharmacy! Patients now have 7 locations in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC, to find a pharmacy hub in their community that takes white glove care of them. Even better, employers who embrace the neighborly local pharmacy model have lower prescription drug costs to show for that investment in their own communities.

We're very proud to have been part of an emerging story of positive change with this client. However, the story continues to be told every day. Through constant collaboration, new innovations and employee advocacy are woven into the Moose health plan that lower cost and improve access to care. Next up for the Moose health plan is the embedding of an onsite/near site direct primary care clinic. We look forward to seeing consistent improvement in health plan metrics year over year. It wouldn’t be possible if Moose Pharmacy didn’t have “a good advisor and a little courage”.
